What accessories does an air conditioner have? What is the function of each accessory?

1. The compressor is the heart of the air conditioner, responsible for compressing the refrigerant.
2. External Evaporator. After the refrigerant is compressed, it becomes high‑temperature and high‑pressure, at which point it flows into the external evaporator.
3. Cooling fan. After the high‑temperature, high‑pressure refrigerant flows into the external evaporator, heat is dissipated through the heat sink fins.
4. Capillary tube. After the cooling fan dissipates the heat, the refrigerant temperature approaches or equals the outdoor temperature, but it remains at high pressure. Because the capillary tube has a small diameter, the high‑pressure refrigerant slowly flows through it.
5. Internal Evaporator. Due to the capillary action, the refrigerant experiences a pressure drop as it enters the internal evaporator, causing it to vaporize and turn into a gas. Vaporization absorbs heat—something you learned in junior high school physics. At this point, because the refrigerant is vaporizing, the temperature of the internal evaporator drops extremely low.
6. Indoor unit fan: It draws in hot indoor air, passes it through the evaporator, and then discharges cool air back into the room, achieving a cooling effect.
7. Air outlet motor. Used to adjust the exhaust direction of the indoor unit.
8. Four-way valve. The four-way valve has two functions.
